The staff at the hotel were really lovely and accommodating, i can’t fault their customer service. It was a disappointing start to our holiday especially when we felt that we’d splashed out as the Hoxton is one of the more expensive hotels in the area. In our second room there was just an ottoman at the end of the bed.
We paid extra for more space and comfort and didn’t feel that this was reflected in the rooms we were given. We found zero difference between the size of cosy vs roomy, and had expected an additional seating area or chair in the roomy as advertised in the pictures. Christopher's at The Winston and the Damrak Inn are a few affordable options that'll leave more money in your pocket.The Hoxton is a lovely hotel but is overpriced in our opinion, we’d booked a roomy room but the first room that was given to us smelt awful, so we were moved first to a cosy room for our first night, and then to a roomy for the remaining 2 nights.
